報告簡介:
In this talk, an improved transparent image coding algorithm is presented, where the quantization factor can be tuned for each block according to the just-noticeable distortion (JND). The experimental results show that the images compressed by the proposed method are hardly distinguished from the original images. Therefore, the proposed method can achieve perceptually transparent quality for images. Moreover, the bitrate of the proposed algorithm is less than that of the state-of-the-arts lossless and near-lossless codecs.
